Corporate Development executive with nearly two decades of experience in cross-border M&A strategy and execution across software, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and IT infrastructure. Proven track record of building and scaling corporate development functions within both PE-backed and public corporations.
Tarang’s experience spans mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and partnerships for both financial and strategic buyers and sellers — with end-to-end deal expertise across strategy, sourcing, valuation, business case development, negotiations, due diligence, and integration.
Before launching Tsunami Dealmakers, Tarang served as Head of Corporate Development at Acquia (a Vista Equity Partners Flagship Fund portfolio company), reporting directly to the CEO as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to Acquia, he held corporate development roles at Rapid7 and Fujitsu, and built deep P&L and operational experience at Wayfair. Tarang spent eight years in the Deals practice at PwC advising strategic and PE sponsors across acquisitions, carve-outs, and integrations, and began his career in General Electric's Financial Management Program.
Tarang received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BSBA from Bryant University. He lives in Boston with his wife and two daughters.
